Special COVID vaccine clinics for over 50’s in Sunderland

0For those over 50, who haven't had their first COVID vaccine yet, you still have time to get your vaccine.
On Sunday 11th April, between 10am and 2pm, special ‘drop-in’ vaccine clinics where no appointment is needed are being held at:
- Houghton Primary Care Centre
- Riverview Health Centre
- Washington Primary Care Centre
Eligibility for these clinics
- You must be aged 50 or over
- You must be registered with a GP practice in Sunderland
- You have not yet had your first COVID vaccine
Anyone not eligible will be turned away.
Details needed
At the clinic, you must be able to provide:
- Your name
- Your date of birth
- Your postcode
- The name of your GP practice
- Your NHS number. If you don’t already have it, you can find it at: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/online-services/find-nhs-number
Please do not attend these clinics if you:
- have already had your first COVID vaccine
- are under 50 years old
- have had COVID in the past 28 days; or
- have had a previous severe allergic reaction to medication
If you have either of these, please contact your GP to book into a scheduled clinic rather that attending a drop-in clinic. Anyone not eligible will not be vaccinated on the day
