Be Cancer Aware is a co-production project. Over the past 18 months we have been delivering cancer awareness courses across the North East and Cumbria to people with a learning disability, families and carers.
As with many things we are no longer able to go out and meet groups so Be Cancer Aware are developing new ways of getting our cancer awareness messages out into our community. The signs of cancer film has been made to help people with a learning disabiltiy understand more about cancer and what to do if they are worried.
